Styled shoot with Julie Paisley | A Tennessee Photography Workshop

Hi guys! If you have been to my website, this beautiful couple may look familiar! This is Jesse and Emily. They were the models for our styled shoot in Tennessee with Julie Paisley Photography. The only thing is, they are not professional models. They are real people. A real couple. I love that Julie uses REAL couples! She is brilliant! They are probably one of the cutest couples I have been around in a long time. At the time of the shoot they had been married for a year. Emily was a natural in front of the camera and Jesse was a really good sport. We put him through a lot. Together, they rocked the whole styled shoot and I am proud to show you these beautiful images.

I messaged Emily and asked for a short bio of their love story and if it was ok if I shared it with you! She happily agreed and gave me the details. Did I mention how much I love this girl? Not only is she incredibly gorgeous, but just as sweet and kind. Jesse is a smart man. A very smart man. Together, they are the perfect couple. They live their life for the Lord and bring JOY to everyone who meets them.

They met in high school. They went through school having crushes on each other but neither of them did anything about it until after graduation. Emily said that after the 2nd date, she knew he was the man she was going to marry. As an indecisive person, that really surprised her that she "knew" and she knew it was from the Lord. She went to study abroad and had to leave her love back home. One weekend while she was in Munich, he surprised her with a visit! And a very sweet proposal.

"He told me that in Ephesians it calls us to be like Christ, who came a long distance to be with us and ask us to be His and promises us His unconditional love....."

He asked for her hand in marriage and the rest is history!

One of my goals in my photography is to bring JOY to others and to in turn, capture that JOY! To capture real life, and the real you! Outtakes are often some of my favorite photos. If you have had a session with me, I often like to include the silly and crying photos.

Sure, I probably would not blow this up and hang it on the wall....but it's funny...and it shows the silliness between them!
