Violet is 1!

I cannot believe this little one is already a year old! I have been photographing her since she was a baby and I have really enjoyed being able to capture her milestones! Do you see those blue eyes?!? They are captivating.  She is such a happy little one, and she LOVES the camera!  She is one of my favorite children to photograph and I am looking forward to many more fun photo shoots with her.  

This time, we decided to escape the heat and head to Flagstaff and get a session in the pines.  It was a great decision....the weather was AMAZING and the landscape was breathtaking.  I will definitely be doing yearly mini sessions up there! Violet was not too sure what to do with all of the tall grass, but this little phoenix native had fun with it!! 

Mom and dad brought up an old bathtub that has been in dad's family for almost a century....and Violet loved it! We know that Grandma will cherish the photos of her in it! 

Cake smash sessions are always fun....you never know how the little ones are going to react to the big pile of yumminess in front of them! Violet was a big fan of her cake, but still acted like a lady and did not dive head first into it! She even shared some with mommy! Violet, you are such a beautiful little girl and I am looking forward to watching you grow up!
