Sedona Adventures May 2016| West Fork Trail Sedona
We ventured up to Sedona yesterday....on a Sunday....ON Memorial Day Weekend....does that tell you how crazy I am?!! I scheduled an engagement session with one of my November wedding couples and did not even think about it being a holiday weekend. Let's just say I learned my lesson :) But nevertheless, we still had a lot of family time (most of it spent in the car!), and enjoyed a nice afternoon exploring!
One of my goals is to document OUR life a little more AND blogging it so I can look back on it later. I managed to grab a few shots of the boys playing around before I met up with my couple. The boys were in heaven! Sticks, dirt, trails....and they even found water and caves!!! They had a blast exploring with Daddy while I shot my session. I really want to go back and spend more time with them there. It is a gorgeous location and the trail is a really easy walk. If you are looking for a fun place to explore with your family, I highly recommend it!
West Fork trail is really easy to get to (as long as it is not a holiday weekend) and they have bathrooms too (that's always important!). They are what I call "hole" bathrooms, but better than peeing in the woods :) Here is a link with directions and more info! It is also $10 to park.

I am so thankful for a husband that goes along with my crazy ideas and did not complain (too much) about the crazy traffic. I was able to capture some amazing photos for my couple's engagement session (blog post and sneak peeks coming soon!), and it was a fun place for the boys to explore!
Arizona has sooooooo many gorgeous areas and locations and I am looking forward to more adventures! Here are a few photos from our latest exploring.
