Tricia + Sean's Sedona Engagement Session | Arizona Wedding Photographer

Tricia + Sean are two of the most genuine people you will ever meet!! I have known Sean for over 20 years....I actually used to be his baby sitter.  Well....my sister and I were really baby sitting his younger brother and sister and just making sure the older boys did not kill each other or set the house on fire! If you know the boys, you know this was a big possibility!!

Sean has a great heart and a sense of humor bigger than life! He had us all laughing the entire time.  I think he has really found the perfect match in Tricia.  She is equally as funny and the two of them together are absolutely hilarious.  There will never be a dull moment in their household. She has a heart of gold and is one of those people that makes you feel like you've known them your whole life after talking to them for 10 minutes.  She is a true gem....and I am so happy that the Lord brought the two of them together!

I have the honor of capturing them becoming man and wife this weekend up in Flagstaff.  I cannot wait to see Sean's face as his bride comes down the aisle and be one of the many to witness them making vows to each other and becoming a family.  Weddings are my favorite!! Weddings where I know the couples, well, I pretty much have to keep myself from crying the whole time and focus on getting the shot! But don't worry guys, I will get it together :)

I asked Tricia to tell me a little about why she fell in love with Sean, and this is what she said:

My friends and family wondered whether I would ever find someone I thought would be marriage material.  I thought my list was simple.  I was looking for a man that was A) a man of character, B) funny, C) good looking and my type, and D) a man after God’s own heart.  Usually when I dated I could find an A and D or a B and C or some other combo.  I just never felt like I found THE ONE.  Until the day I met Sean Laizure.  He was all of the above, a perfect fit.  As we continue to know each other better my love for him grows deeper and deeper.  We make each other laugh, we encourage, build up and comfort one another and forward to growing old together.

As for Sean, just four days after meeting me he wrote in a notebook, “I love you Tricia Pfeil and I’m going to ask you to marry me some day.”  Two months later he asked me, and four months after that, on October 15, 2016 we marry for life!
